Back in June we vowed to make it through the night camping for the first time. We went to a state park 20 minutes from our house up in the mountains and nabbed the last site. Then we realized that we had forgotten the tent poles so Phil drove back to get them while Sasha and I set up camp and got dinner started. She loved eating soup outside and then roasting marshmellows for smores. We were all in our sleeping bags by 8:30 just as it started to rain. Sasha woke up around 11:00 pm crying and saying "I'm all done camping!" but we stuck it out and had a pretty good night overall.
Here we are making French toast in the morning. Sasha loved the tent so much that she insisted on eating her breakfast in it.
