Baths continue to be a joy for Sasha. As soon as she hears the tub filling with water, she crawls excitedly toward the bathroom, pulls herself up to the tub and bounces up and down in anticipation. Once in the tub, it is a challenge because all she wants to do is pull herself up to stand.
Her bedroom is full of warm late afternoon sun-- a cozy play area now that we have a rug there on the hardwood floor. Still waiting on a real crib....hopefully it will arrive soon.
This is the outside of our condo that we are renting.

Phil and Sasha with their Coke Zeros. Don't worry--Sasha's is merely an empty can that has become one of her favorite toys.

I'm at a loss for what to do with her hair. It's getting so long in front that is gets in her eyes and she loves to run her messy hands through the hair above her ears at meals. Ughh!! I hate to cut all the curls off though, so I guess I'll just have to find creative ways to hold it back for now.
Creeping back and forth between the tub and the toilet.
This last weekend we went to the grand opening of the Railyard District which is 2 blocks from our house. Our favorite store there is REI with Borders a close second. Sasha and I frequent the area on walks every day and go to the story hour at Borders on Tuesdays.
Sasha cheering on the Colts as they narrowly beat the Vikings yesterday. The colts hype may be the number one thing we miss about living in Indy!

This sequence of 3 pictures depicts how Sasha spends 99% of her waking hours these days. She crawls to something, positions to pull up, and then is so pleased with herself when she raises up. Nothing intimidates her which keeps Phil and I on our toes. Thankfully after 8 months she is now officially sleeping through the night, so everyone feels more well rested. She is vocalizing a lot more recently too in a very loud voice. Another important note--Phil and I also found a great babysitter to watch her in the evenings occasionally so we can have regular date nights, something we have been craving for awhile. Hooray!
