This is a very hodgepodge posting but it captures some of our everyday life this fall with some of my favorite pictures. We all continue to enjoy and appreciate the weekly visit from my mom and often my dad. They drive up one day during the week from Albuquerque to spend the day with me and the kids. My mom always bring delicious homemade food to eat that night or to put in the freezer and often has some fun activity planned to do with Sasha. And if that weren't enough she just starts in on the laundry without me asking and wants to know what other little projects she can do during nap time to help me out. I am VERY fortunate. I hope I can do the same for my kids someday.
Jack's obsession with things with wheels continues. His first two words together were "Jack car" He is talking a lot with more words than I we can count now. He has a low voice for a baby I think which I recall Phil's mom writing in Phil's baby book as well. I love this stage when they finally can start to communicate better.
This is one of those pictures of Sasha that gives a glimpse of what she is going to look like as a teenager I think. Something about it makes her look so old
We had our first snow here in early October! It melted the next day at our house but the snow-capped peaks were visible for a least a week from our house.
Here we are at the New Mexico State Fair. Sasha had a blast riding the ponies and carnival rides. She was so brave and rode all of the rides by herself (within her height constraints). I think she would say it was one of the best days of her life.
Phil and Sasha on one of our Sunday hikes up in the mountains when the aspens were at their peak.
