36 weeks!

We celebrated our 8th anniversary this week and the passing of the 36th week of pregnancy. Ideally there won't be any action over the holidays, but we know baby may have other ideas. We are looking forward to a quiet Christmas and New Years in Indianapolis with visits from both of our parents. Merry Christmas to All!

There is definitely a baby in there.

My wonderful sisters-in-law Teresa and Rachel threw me a beautiful baby shower for friends and family and friend Mandy's home in Indy. The baby will be very well equipped!

30 weeks

We have been busy getting ready for baby and travelling to many job interviews for Phil. So far the potential list of locations for next year includes Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, Denver, and Ann Arbor. Thirty weeks pregnant found us in Littleton, CO (a Denver suburb). This fetus has a logged a lot of miles already!

25 weeks

The profile is changing weekly. Baby is kicking pretty much after every big meal and around 10pm.

We are starting to get a bit anxious about setting up the nursery, but it will come along eventually. This weekend will be at home and will probably be one where we finalize some ideas for furniture and boring stuff... but more baby kicking is a reminder for more planning!

20 weeks

After 20 weeks things are finally starting to become pretty obvious, for one of us at least. It seems that pregnancy is a gender-specific thing, but there are different theories on this. We'll keep following both for now.

16 weeks

Well, still not a whole lot of change, even while in Michigan. A little bulge, but not obvious to strangers yet. Nausea has improved more, at least.

12 weeks

12 weeks into pregnancy, there's really perhaps some subtle changes... The smile belies the nausea Jess is feeling on a daily, constant basis.
Thank goodness for Zofran.
Notice the cat stationary, it looks a bit like Burt.
