The kids and I traveled to Michigan for my cousin Liz's wedding to Kurt.  It was so nice to spend time with my Gingerich cousins, aunts, uncles, and Grandma.  The wedding was at a beautiful camp on a lake in rural Michigan and we enjoyed staying in a cabin, fishing, and canoeing.  Sasha and Jack especially enjoyed getting to know their second cousins Caroline and Nathan.

Our first camping trip was on a weekend before school was out.  We went up to Black Canyon campground just up toward the ski basin.  It was chilly in the morning but so fun.

The kids were obsessed with building the campfire and keeping it going.  Sasha even started one on her own in the morning since she was the first one up.

We finally got the basketball hoop installed that we had gotten them for Christmas.  We spend many evenings outside shooting hoops and playing two on two.

The last day of school is bittersweet.  Ms. Powers and Ms. Mitchell were awesome Second Grade teachers and Sasha thrived there.

Sasha with Ellie and Katie (her best friend).  She brought Baby Monkey for Lovey Day on the last day of school. 

We spent Memorial Day weekend down in Albuquerque at my parents place.  We enjoyed bike riding, going to a brewery, the botanical garden, Ruth's Chris steakhouse and visiting Grandma Yoder.
